Hardware Startup, iTwin Bags CES Innovations Design and Engineering Honor
Singapore-based hardware startup, iTwin told us earlier this week that the company is one of the honorees of the recent 2012 CES Innovation Awards. (Congrats)
The award, as described by CES, is judged by “a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade press.”

今週初め、シンガポール拠点のハードウェア・スタートアップであるiTwinに話を聞いた。彼らは、最近発表された2012年CESイノベーションアワードの受賞者に名を連ねたのだそうだ。（おめでとう）
CESによると、この賞は"個人工業デザイナー、個人エンジニア、業界紙関係者から成る特別に優秀な審査員"によって審査されるとのことだ。

CES described iTwin as the plug and play solution for remote users to access, edit, download, upload files – Mac or Windows – with complete end-to-end privacy/security with 256 key encryption. Even if one USB component is lost it can be remotely disabled to ensure data remains safe.

iTwinのおかげで、遠隔ユーザーたちはファイルへのアクセス・編集・ダウンロード・アップロードが非常に簡単にできるようになったとCESは言う。MacでもWindowsでも、プライバシー/セキュリティーを256キーで暗号化して完璧に守ったまま、それらの操作をすることができるのだ。たとえUSBコンポーネントを1つ失ったとしても、自動で機能を停止するので、データは確実に守られる。
