青森県東部に位置し、広大な太平洋を一望することができる種差海岸を散策します。
現在は、「陸中海岸国立公園」の一部に制定されており、「みちのく潮風トレイル」と名付けられた人気の高いウオーキングルートの要所にもなっています。
種差海岸では満月の夜、月の光が海面に一直線に伸び、まるで月と地上を結ぶような光の橋を海に見ることができます。柑橘類の中で最も大きく、柑橘の女王とも呼ばれるザボンのように見えることから、種差海岸のあたりではこの現象を「ザボンの月」と呼びます。
現在は、「陸中海岸国立公園」の一部に制定されており、「みちのく潮風トレイル」と名付けられた人気の高いウオーキングルートの要所にもなっています。

As it looks like shaddock that is called queen of citrus fruits and is the largest among the citrus fruits, this phenomenon is called "moon of shaddock" in this part of Tanesashi Beach.
