新宿四丁目新宿御苑トンネル側から撮影しました。
1954年に竣工して2004年に閉館。現在は地上14階 地下3階建ての
新宿三丁目イーストビルに建てかわりました。中には大型シネコンとマルイ
が入っています。カラー写真は2014年春撮影。

The white and black photo was taken in 1999. I shot Shinjuku Toei Kaikan which was in Shinjuku Sancyome from the Shinjuku Gyoen tunnel of Shinjuku 4-chyome.
It was started its construction in 1954 and in 2004, it was closed. Now it has been reconstructed as Shinjuku 3-cyome East Building with 14 floors on the ground and 3 floors under the ground. In there, there are a big cinema and Marui. The color photo was shot in spring 2014.

Taken in 1999, this monochrome picture shows the Shinjuku Toeki Kaikan building, which used to be in Shinjuku 3-chome, captured from the Shinjuku 4-chome Shinjuku Gyuen Tunnel side. This building was built in 1954 and closed down in 2004 to be rebuilt as the Shinjuku 3 chome East Building, which accommodates a huge cinema complex and the Marui department store. The picture in color was shot in Spring 2014.
