私の父の父親は静岡県の前田藩主に仕える医者の一族でした。
しかし彼は医者にならず(なれず？)かなり変わった人だったようです。
私の父が家系について書き残してました。関東大震災で没落したようです。
なので、私の父親も不思議な人でした。
もう少し仲良くすれば良かった、、、。
それだけが私の心残りです。
貴女達と貴方のお母さんがこれからも元気に活躍されますように。

I received the card.
My father's father was related to the doctor who worked for the Daimyo Maeda in Shizuoka Prefecture.
However, he was a quite different person who couldn't become a doctor.
My father left a note behind about the family lineage. He was ruined by the Great Kanto Earthquake apparently.
However, my father was a wonderful person.
It would have been better if I could have gotten on a little better with him,,,.
That is my only regret.
