I live in Japan therefore I speak Japanese. The language of Japan is Japanese, not English or any other. There should not be necessary to have any information in other language besides Japanese here and to obtain any kind of visa to live in Japan the foreign person should be required to speak and read/write in Japanese at least for daily use or else have the visa denied. People who live here and expect everything to be in their language become very inconvenient to our society here therefore should be denied visa of any extended length other than a tourist visa.
Opening a bank account in Japan is very complicated for a non-javanese speaker.Financial services in general are not efficient for non-japanese speakers.

People speak very less English and sometimes due to this not comfortable to talk. Feel alone in big places sometimes, In a shopping mall I unable to buy few products I was looking for due to the same reason. So you are on your own
The traffic and there are a lot of people

そのような外人になった事がある。私は列車の中で食べ物を食べた。その匂いがローストされた足の爪だろうと知っていたが、腹が減っていた。列車に乗って40分後、私は大きい缶14個分の麻痺されるぐらい強いチューハイを吐いた。しかし、そこにはこのように行動すれば良いと言う英語のサインがなかった。
人たちは英語に慣れていないため、英語をあまり話さない。時には広い場所でも孤独を感じる、ショッピングモールでも同じ理由で欲しい物を買えなかった。つまり、一人でなんとかしないといけない。

THERE IS NO HANDICAPPED ACCESS TO PUBLIC FACILITIES SUCH AS DOCTORS' OFFICES and there is no information about this in English or Japanese about this until AFTER I arrive by taxi, grrr.
Lack of staff how can speak English
When I first got to Japan I often had problems with trains as I couldn't always understand the differences between trains if the information wasn't easily seen in English.
適当な病院までの道案内の英語による看板が十分にない、など。
道路標識が小さすぎる、いくつかの標識がグループ化されているため読みにくい。
子供を授かったときに、病院職員との会話がとれず、妊娠そのものがとても大変でストレスなものになった。
病院など、公共施設内における障害者用の移動手段がない、タクシーで現場まで行ったが、そのことは英語でも日本語でも情報がない。
英語で対応できる職員が少ない
初めて日本へ行ったときに、英語で簡単にわかる情報がなかったために電車の乗り換えがわからず、困ることがたびたたびあった。

For example I got the rapid train when I needed the local train.
The services at the office ward and post offices cannot be done smoothly as many of the staff cannot speak in English.

Usually the automatic speaker says "sugi wa, shinjuku eki... The next station is Shinjuku". But if the driver has to report an emergency, it is only in Japanese.

Sometimes the map showed in my phone is in Japanese and it's hard to find places that I want to visit like restaurant, cafe or government offices nearby my area of residence.

when i was travelling in train i use a phone to contact . some body told me don't speak in phone , In musashino train line there a lack of information of digital board inside a train. i ask somebody why we can't use phone he told me that if you use phone it might be disturb to other. A english speaker make me clear.
Without description in English, It is hard to understand whether the written price includes tax or not.
