①プラチナ万年筆が1966年、世界で最初の羊皮巻きの万年筆を発売。「A」はマイナーチェンジを繰り返しながら40年以上カタログに載り続けています。
この万年筆は、現在のタイプではなく、初期型(おそらく60年代後半～1970年代に製造)です。年代ものの割に美品で、使えます。②1973年に製造されたBは、軸にもキャップにも革を繋いだ形跡が見えない程、革の処理が一流です。天冠と尾冠も同じ革で飾ってあり、高級品。アマゾンの小動物の革使用で、手になじむ独特の手触り。手に入れられない一品。
(1) Platinum Pen put on the market its world-first parchment-wound fountain pen in 1966. "A" has been in the catalogs for more than four decades while undergoing repeated minor changes.
This fountain pen is not of the current type, but of the initial type (manufactured perhaps in the late 1960s and 1970s). Although old, it looks good and is usable.
(2) "B", manufactured in 1973, is based on top-notch leather treatment, so much so that you cannot see any traces of leather seams either on the shaft or cap. Both the cap top and body top are decorated with the same leather and upmarket. It is made of leather from small Amazonian animals. It has a unique touch to your hand, fitting it well. It is one of a kind, hard to come by.
