NHKの海外向けチャンネルで、巨匠手塚治虫特集を放送した
NHK WORLD TVの番組「imagine-nation」にて、手塚治虫の特集が放送される。初回放送は6月1日の8時30分からだった。「imagine-nation」はマンガやアニメの特集を中心とした、日本のポップカルチャーを紹介する海外向け番組。6月1日放送回では、アニメ映画「手塚治虫のブッダ －赤い砂漠よ！美しく－」を中心に紹介した。海外向けの放送だが、日本でも公式サイトで視聴できる。
NHK TV features a master artist “TEZUKA OSAMU” in series as an overseas broadcast. The program is “Imagine-nation” by NHK WORLD TV, and its first air time was from 8:30 a.m. on June 1st. “Imagine-nation” introduces Japanese popular cultures mainly projecting features of comics and cartoon films beyond the sea. The first play on June 1st was an animation cartoon “TEZUKA OMAMU's Buddha – Keep your beauty, Red desert!". Although the program is for oversea, you can see it through an official Web site in Japan.
