日本人なら真摯にこの歴史的事実を認識しておくべきである。当時の白人先進国から日本はサイレント・パートナーと呼ばれたという。今でもそうかも知れないが、この意味は沈黙している同士という。要は当時、有色人種は国際連盟の運営に口出しするなという事だ。つまり一種の差別用語である。明らかに日本人は差別されていた。歴史を真摯に見つめると、日本人は決してサイレント・パートナーを作らない国である。語学を学ぶなら、まず人種の偏見をもっとも忌み嫌う民族である事を誇りに持ち、再確認する事である。
If you're Japanese, you need to recognize the plain facts of this history. The advanced white nations of the time referred to Japan as a "silent partner." That may be so even now.
