様々な価値観の人と生活することに不安はないし、むしろ非常に楽しみである。私は今までも積極的に海外で自分と異なる価値観に触れる努力をしてきた。ミャンマーのNGOで三週間のボランティアを一度、インドのNGOで三週間のボランティアを二度行った。そういった活動で様々な人と話をすることは非常に楽しかった。例えば、インドのNGOで共に生活したキランという男の子とは、将来の夢や今までの苦労などいろんなことを話した。寮で生活することで、多様な人と話し、様々な価値観に触れることが楽しみである。
I do not feel uncomfortable living around people who hold different values, rather I enjoy it a lot. Up to now I have even gone out of my way to have contact abroad with people with different values. I once spent three weeks with an NGO in Myanmar, and twice spent three weeks with an NGO [with NGOs?] in India. It was a great pleasure to be able to talk with different kinds of people during those experiences. For example, with a boy named Kiran who was living with me at an Indian NGO I talked about his [our?] dreams for the future and his [our respective?] difficulties up to now. In my life at the dorm I am looking forward to talking with all kinds of people and having contact with different value systems.
