This funny 'bath' movie is about a coming and going between ancient Rome and modern Japan, showing unique culture of people enjoying public bath: Roman 'thermae' and Japanese 'furo.'
Supprisingly, the leading character Lucius, a 'thermae' engineer, is performed by a Japanese actor.
It's not so usual for a Japanese man having such a Western-like face.
Getting troubled under the emperor's order to construct a new bath, he somehow time travels to modern Japan, where he take some hints through Japanese 'furo' culture. And finally he succeed to produce a wonderful 'thermae' back in his own time.
