９.１１同時テロの首謀者とされるウサマ・ビンラディンをイスラマバード郊外で殺害というニュースが世界を駆け巡った。これは朗報かそれとも悲報というべきか。
旧約聖書を読む機会が少ない日本人にとって、テロは単なるテロ事件である。首謀者が生きて逮捕されるべきか、殺害されるかは容易に判断出来る。しかし、聖地を巡って未だに紛争が古より今日まで続いているならウサマ・ビンラディンの死はあまり喜べそうにない。
歴史は諍いを利用して、私腹を肥やす輩で満ちている。いつも犠牲になるのは民である。

The news that Osama bin Laden who is regarded as ringleader of September 11 attacks is killed in suburb of Islamabad break through the whole world. It weather be a good news or sad news.
Terrorism is just a terrorist attack for Japanese who don't have much opportunity to read the Old Testament. It is simple to judge if the ringleader should be captured alive or killed. However, the death of Osama bin Laden doesn't seem a good news since the conflicts over the holy place have been continuing from ancient times up to today.
The history is full of fellows to fill their own pockets using the conflicts. The people are always sacrificed.

The news that Osama bin Laden, the alleged mastermind of September Eleventh, coursed through all over the world. Is it good news or sad information? For us Japanese, who seldom read Old Testament, a terror is just a terror. You can, therefore, easily think of whether a mastermind should be arrested or be killed. Considering, however, the everlasting conflict centering on Noble Sanctuary from olden days to up until now, you won’t be able to think his death a good thing.
During the long history, there have been so many that enrich themselves by making use of conflicts. Common people are always the victims.
