１０メートル！長谷寺の大観音さま！
長谷寺の本尊がこちらの十一面観音菩薩様。広く観音様として親しまれています。
その大きさ、なんと１０メートル！
口をあんぐり開けて眺めるそのお姿は神々しいの一言！
右手に錫杖、左手に蓮の花を持ったこのスタイルが長谷寺の観音様の特徴なんだそうです
錫杖はお地蔵様の持ち物のひとつで、煩悩を取り智慧（ちえ）を得ることができるとされています。
