. This is REALLY a one of a kind flugel (as opposed to many others on ebay), as it has the original documentation from 1975, including warranty and loan/sales slip. It also has a FACTORY 3rd slide trigger that makes it one of the most in-tune that Couesnon has produced! It is also HEAVY for a bigger darker sound (heavier than Couesnon's "Elkhart" 70's stencil or many a Yamaha). It has been play-tested against primo 1950's era Couesnon flugels and compares very well.
It is all original with original lacquer at 95%+ due to a little wear from right hand. It has very low miles with the valves very tight from the factory and possibly needing to be lapped! All slides are free and work well. It's very straight with just a couple of dings, but no evidence of prior dent repair. It comes with a vintage Benge case that fits perfectly and is in excellent shape, but no mouthpiece.
