This auction is for a fabulous old mantle clock made by Ansonia Clock Co. This is Model 2270, I believe from late 70s to early 80s. This is a beautiful chiming mantel clock featuring polished brass accessories and a swinging pendulum. It is finished in Cherry on select hardwoods. Quartz movement plays Westminster chimes every quarter hour with Big Ben hour count. Operates on 1 "C" battery. Measures 13-1/2" x 9" x 4-3/4". This particular clock has a metal emblem on top that says AEGON. Must have been a retirement gift or something like that from this company. Purchased at estate sale. The clock is , one side on bottom has a scratch. Has decorative beveled glass on front. Works perfectly.
素晴らしいAnsonia Clock Co. 製のモデル 2270型マントルクロック（置時計）をオークションします。おそらく70年代後期から80年代初期の製品です。この製品は、チャイムの音色、光沢のある真鍮製アクセサリー、さらに振り子が特徴の美しい品です。表面は、ハードウッド（桜）です。クォーツ製で15分間隔でウェストミンスターのチャイム音がなり、また1時間間隔でビッグベンの鐘の音が鳴ります。電池は「C 」タイプが1個必要です。サイズは13-1/2" x 9" x 4-3/4"です。この時計には、上部にAEGONと彫られた金属製のエンブレムがあります。会社からの退職記念品か、なにかの記念品だったと思われます。邸宅品の一掃オークションで購入した品です。この時計は片側底部に引っかき傷があります。前面はベベルガラスで飾られています。機能性に問題はありません
