多言語コールセンターを運営する「ブリックス」（東京）は１１日、東北・関東大地震で被災した外国人向けに、英語や中国語、韓国語などを通訳する無料電話サービスを２４時間体制で始めた。
助けを求める外国人が役場や避難先などで自治体職員らとやりとりする際に、電話をすれば間に立って通訳する。午前９時から午後８時までは３言語に加え、ポルトガル語とスペイン語でも対応する。通訳サービスの電話番号は０５０（５８１４）７２３０。
Bricks, who operates multilingual call center has launched on March 11th a free telephone translation service for foreigners who are victims of Great Tohoku-Kanto Earthquake. The service is available 24 hours a day for speakers of English, Chinese, Korean etc.
The Foreigners can take advantage of the service when they need to speak to people such as local government officials to ask for help at a town office, shelter where they live temporarily etc. Besides the three languages, telephone transalation for Portuguese and Spanish speakers are also available from 9:00am to 8:00pm.
