I already sent this picture of the lens to you. I suggest you show this picture to a trusted repair shop and ask if this damage is possible during a short delivery duration. However, if the repair shop cannot identify the part, asking is a waste of time. That shop does not specialize in vintage camera/lens of 40s and 50s. Since you have no knowledge of camera parts, claiming that the lens was fine before shipping and that the damage is due to high temperature during shipping is worse than a child`s excuse and holds no meaning whatsoever.

I have already sent you the picture of the lens.
I would recommend you to show the repair shop you can trust the picture and ask them whether
it can happen during the short time of transportation.
If they can't see what is the foreign body in it, however, it is wasteful to ask them.
It means that the repair shop is not a professional at the vintage camera and lens of 40s to 50s,
Anyway, it is useless and the childish excuse that you argued that it was normal before transportation, and could be caused by the high temperture during it.

I have already sent you the photo of this lense. I shall reccomend you to show the photo to a repair shop you relied on and ask him/her wheter there is a possibility to happen this defect during the short period of the shipping. But it may be no use if the shop cannot identify the foerign body in the photo. In this case the shop may not be a proffesional for vintage camera made between 1940 and 1950. In any case there is no ground for your childish argument that you insist there was normal when it was shipped or the defect was caused by heat during the shipping because you don't have propper knowledge .
