2011年、ニュー・デザイナー・ショウの直後にマットはブルックリンに戻り、フレイバー紙社で働きながら夏を過ごした。このときマットはフレイバー紙社とクローム、それにサンフランシスコ・バイク・マッッサージャー・バッグ社とのコラボレート企画のデザインを行った。

日中はカムフラージュとなり、夏には反射板となる。私たちの小さなユーティリティー・ベルトは限定版の反射材付きカムフラージュ柄となっている。Made in USA。一生物です。

彼はロンドン大学でコミュニケーションの分野を学んだ。マットは表面デザインの学科を卒業。このコースは紙製品、織物製品、セラミックなどへのデザインと印刷技術の鍵となる技術と合理的な使用方法を学ぶ学科だ。

2010年の夏、マットはブルックリンのヴィンテージ物、流行もの、Jay-Zやレニー・クラヴィッツなどのお洒落なセレブなどから依頼を受けて作る壁紙などを制作するフレーバー紙社のインターンシップを終えた。

マットは貿易の技術を学び、特別仕様のインクを作り、壁紙のハンドスクリーン印刷し、もちろん汚い仕事もした。
