日本語で花はflower、見は見るを意味します。
つまり、花見とは花を見ることです。
何の花を見るかというと、桜を見ます。
公園や寺で食事をしたり酒を飲みながら桜を見ることを花見と言います
桜は日本の国花になっていて、日本人はとても好きです。
桜は3月～4月にかけて満開になり、
街中でよく見かけるようになります。
日本人の多くは、桜をみるととても美しいと感じます
花見の習慣は古く千年以上前からあります
