あるとき、主人公の九十九遊馬は皇の鍵というものを手に入れます。すると、遊馬にアストラルという精霊が取りつくようになってしまいます。しかし、アストラルには自身の記憶がなかったため、遊馬は記憶を取り戻す手伝いをすることになります。記憶を取り戻す方法というのが、ナンバーズというカードを集めることでした。このナンバーズというカードを集めるために、遊馬はデュエルを繰り広げていくことになります。

遊馬はやんちゃな性格であるため、無謀なことによく挑戦します。

しかし、挑戦しては失敗してしまいます。例えば、跳び箱30段に挑戦するような無謀さを持っています。でも、失敗を恐れずに挑戦するって凄いと思うので、感心してしまいます

最初は遊馬とアストラルは理解しあっていませんでしたが、物語が進むにつれて二人の絆が深まって理解し合っていく姿は、遊馬の成長が見れてとても良いので注目してほしいです！
