When I translate any tecnically oriented documens/materials/data, I always and most importantly have in mind that I should understand, completely in full detail and depth, the features & properties of the technology which my objective document describingly contains. For attaining to do so, I search, look into and read all kinds of internet sites, real books, dictionaries, referrence books.
What You Can Expect
Before becoming a freelance translator as being now, I have worked for approx.40 years as formal employee in certain well-established and industry-leading company in Japan which manufactures heavy & medium-duty trucks and buses. Taking my respobsibility as a translator of all kinds of documents/materials/data which are essential to produce their products in overseas, yes that is localization, the importance of the things mentiond in the above has been hammered into my head. I have carried out my translation works very much and with very same motto.
Business Hours
I am available 5 to 6 hours throughout weekdays, supposing start at 9:00 in Japan standard time.

大型＆中型トラック・バスの製造・販売会社である(株)日野自動車を２０１３年に定年退職してから、フリーランサーの翻訳・通訳者としてやって行けないかと奮闘しております。その為には、先ず第一に文法的に正しく且つ多くの語彙と文化的側面を兼ね備えた英語力を持つ事は当然ですが、加えて、日野自動車での工業・技術的分野の翻訳・通訳業務を行った際に痛切に感じー私は語学・文化系が専門でしたのでー更にフリーになって以後自分自身で思考した結果、自分が翻訳・通訳する対象物の内容を正しく且つ詳細に理解・把握している事が絶対必要だと気付きました。 そして、その対象分野・事物は広範囲でかつ非常に複雑・難解（な物もある）なのでどうすればいいのか途方に暮れてしまい、自分自身に言ってしまう程です。 ”言うは易し、行うは難し！”と。しかし、この点は自分が翻訳・通訳する際の肝に据えています。 日野自動車での職歴ー従って”理解・把握した”と言える実績分野ーは工業・技術的分野ですが、その他にも興味が在る・勉強中ー理解・把握しようと努力中ーの分野等も含めて詳細は下記履歴・専門分野の項目を見て頂きたくお願い致します。
