私は見積もり提出が今週の中ごろになってしまうことを、客先に謝罪致しました。
また、遅れている理由が、要求仕様の入射角度(AOI)が厳しいことであることも説明しました。
しかし、客先は今週の中ごろまでは、見積もりを待てないと言っておりました。
また、現在見積もり提出が遅れている理由のAOIの仕様を緩和しても、すぐに見積もりを送って欲しいと言っておりました。そのため、客先からの要求仕様のAOIではなく、貴社で保証できる最大のAOIで良いので、はやく見積書を送って頂けないでしょうか？

I apologized to our customer about the delay in submitting quotation which will be available in the middle of this week. I also explained that the reason for this delay is because the required angle of incidence (AOI) on the specification is too severe. However, the customer said they cannot wait till middle of this week to receive quotation. Also, they demanded the quotation to be sent immediately even by easing up the AOI which is now causing delay in submitting the quotation. Therefore, will you send the quotation as soon as possible not with the AOI required by the customer, but with the maximum possible AOI that your company can assure?

I have apologised to our customer that we can only provide the quotation around the middle of this week.
Also we have explained that the reason of this delay is to due to the strict angle of incidence (AOI) of requested specifications.
However, our customer said that they cannot wait for the quotation until the middle of this week.
Also, they asked us to send the quotation quicker even if that meant to ease the AOI specifications, which is the reason why the quotation is currently taking time to be provided. Therefore, could you provide us the quotation as soon as possible? It doesn't need to be the AOI of our customer's requested specifications, the best AOI that can be guaranteed by your company would be enough.
