私の人生は同じ事の繰り返しばかりだという事に気が付いた。人は自分の周りの環境を一新することで自分を変えることができる。人は自分自身が嫌になった時、自分を変えようと努力をする。嫌いな自分を変えることは簡単ではないが、強い決意があれば変えられるものだと思う。しかし自分を変える努力をした結果、自分自身だけが「自分は変わったんだ。」と満足していても何か確信が得られない。結局、友達に会った時「相変わらずだね。」と言われたらどう受け止めるだろうか。

I realized that my life was just a repetition of the same things over and over. By changing their own surroundings, people can change themselves. When you are unhappy with yourself, you can change yourself as long as you are willing to make the effort to do so. Changing the things about yourself that you don't like is not easy, but if you have a strong conviction to do so then i believe it is possible. However, after putting forth the effort to change yourself, just thinking "I have changed" and being content with it is not enough. If you met a friend and they remarked that you are "just the same as always" what would you think?

I realised that the events of my life just seemed to repeat themselves over and over and again. Human beings have the ability to transform their surroundings and thereby transform themselves. If Human beings don't like themselves, they can make an effort and change. It's not simple to change things about yourself that you don't like, but I think if you are really determined, you can do it. But, if you make the effort and change yourself, you can't get the affirmation that you need if simply say to yourself, 'Indeed! I have changed!'. Ultimately, if you met up with your friend, and they said that you were 'the same old you', how would you take it?
