【東京モーターショー13】世界一のテクノロジーモーターショーめざす
日本自動車工業会は、「第43回東京モーターショー2013」を前回より会期を10日前倒しし、2013年11月22日から12月1日までの期間（一般公開は11月23日から）、東京ビッグサイトで開催すると発表した。
東京モーターショー2013は、引き続き、乗用車・商用車・二輪車・カロッツェリア、部品・機械器具関連製品、自動車関連サービスを含む総合ショーとして開催する。

Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc.(JAMA）has announced that “43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013” will be held from November 22, 2013 to December 1 (opening for general public starts November 23, 2013), 2013, which is 10 days earlier than previous one, at Tokyo Big Site.
Tokyo Motor Show 2013 will continue to be an integrated show, which includes various areas, such as passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, carrozzerias, parts, equipment, fixture related products, auto related services.

24年振りに会場を東京に移し開催した前回（2011年）の東京モーターショーは、すべての国内メーカー14社・15ブランド、海外から21社・25ブランドが参加し、ワールドプレミアが53モデル登場するなど国際ショーにふさわしい内容となった。また、主催者テーマ事業「SMART MOBILITY CITY 2011」ではクルマ、都市、人々の暮らしに結びつく最先端技術を発信。

Last Tokyo Motor Show in 2011 was moved to Tokyo for the first time in 24 years. Joined by all 14 Japanese domestic manufactures with15 brands and 21 overseas manufacturers with 25 brands, and held 53 models world premiere, the International show got deserved attention. Also, the latest technologies that connected between cars, cities, and people’s life were delivered at “SMART MOBILITY CITY 2011”, the hosting theme project.
その結果、総入場者数は前回比37％増の84万2600人を記録し、一日当たりでは、第40回ショー(2007年)をも上回った。
第43回東京モーターショー2013では、前回ショー同様、「技術立国・日本」を象徴する展示会として、世界一のテクノロジー・モーターショーのイメージ定着を目指す。
出展募集は10月中旬より開始し、募集締切は2013年2月上旬の予定。
