At present Chinese economy does not show much vigor as before. China is ranked at the 18th in the IMD index; Japan at the 27th. This index shows how high is the ability of a country to gather money from outside, and can be regarded as a “soft factor” that is a standard for evaluation of environment, quality of life, scientific technology, and intellectual property of the country. Chinese economy is losing the momentum which we could see before. Nowadays, China is ranked at 18th in the IMD indicators. Japan is at 27th. This index indicates how much the country has fund-raising capacity from outside, and the criteria for evaluation are environment, quality of life, science technology, and intellectual property called as "soft factors".
