日本で、外国人観光客が最も多く訪れる都市をご存知ですか？
広範囲では東京とも言えますが、一つの都市として言えば、実はこの新宿区なのです。
ここには東京都庁があり、世界一乗降客数の多い駅もある巨大都市です。
有名な観光名所だけにとらわれず、この都市にとって真の意味で重要な場所を紹介したいと思います。
作品は多種多様ですが、全作品に共通する最大の特徴は、その背景の景色が日本の街並みだという事です。
そして、それも含めて一つの作品として成立されるのがパブリックアートの素晴らしさだと思います。

Do you know the city where foreign tourists visit the most in Japan?
We can say it is Tokyo when we speak about wide range but when we speak about 1 city, in fact, it is Shinjuku.
Here is Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office and it is a huge city where there is the most crowded station in the world.
I do not stick to famous sightseeing spots and I would like to introduce important place in the true sense for this city.
Works are various but the best special feature which have all woks in common is that the scenery of the background is
Japanese townscape.
And I think public art is wonderful so that it is executed as one work including it.

We would like to introduce the truly important place for this city regardless of the famous seeing spots.
