Maxime Simoëns first came across Sanderson’s designs when he discovered Rupert Sanderson’s newly opened boutique in the exclusive Passage des deux Pavillons in the Palais Royal, Paris. On walking in, the couture designer who is considered a prodigy of the French fashion world, was mesmerised by the clean lines and simple silhouettes of Rupert’s designs - especially the hit sandal of the season, Estelle. Simoëns is a rising star of the fashion scene – his designs are already gracing the international red carpets on actresses such as Rachel McAdams, Astrid Berges-Frisbey and Blake Lively.
