Lowering Raw Material Purchase Cost
Even if the sell price does not change, the additional value goes up if raw material purchase price can be decreased.
To decrease cost, one way would be to obtain the technical capability to produce products that has equal quality to that of other companies by using less or cheaper material, or you could also purchase in large lots or find inexpensive suppliers. Additional value is something that a company newly creates through production operation.
