観光庁は1月19日、同庁国際会議室で「第5回 ユニークベニュー利用促進協議会」を開催。「平成26年度 ユニークベニューの開発・利用促進に関する調査」に関する中間報告が行なわれた。
同調査は、国際会議やMICE開催に際して、文化施設や公的空間等を利用してレセプションを開催するユニークベニューを積極的に利用し、MICE誘致競争力強化につなげることを目的に実施されている。
今年度は対象を、地域は全国に広げ、施設のカテゴリーは歴史的建造物や神社仏閣、屋外空間を含めるなど、広範囲に広げる。

On January 19, the Tourism Agency held the "5th Unique Venue Use Promotion Council" in the Agency International Conference Room. The interim report on the "Survey on the development and use promotion of unique venues for Fiscal Year 2014" was presented.
