北海道のデザインを一同に集めて審査をする、Sapporo ADC（札幌アートディレクターズクラブ）コンペティション&アワード2012年の入賞・入選作品を掲載したデザイン年鑑。年鑑はデザインの歴史を刻むもので、長期間保存されるものです。そのことを考慮し「古くなってもいいデザイン」「古くなると味になるデザイン」を目指しました。ビジュアルとしては、過剰なデザインではなく、年鑑タイトルと受賞者の名前を構成要素とした、シンプルなものにすることで、「古くならないデザイン」を目指しました。

Sapporo ADC (Sapporo art directors club)conpetition & award in 2012 which is collecting design arts in Hokkaido and evaluate it. This is the designation year book including winning works. The year book is letting time pass and coserved for long time. We took into consideration and aimed at "Old but good design" "Old and profound design"
As vidual, by letting it not over design but simple design which is conpound of the name of yearbook title and winner,We aimed at "being not able to old design."

This is the design year book enlisting the arts obtained "Sapporo ADC competition & awards 2012" , which is examined by gathering the designs from across Hokkaido. This year book is supposed to be preserved for a long time, telling us the story of the designs. Taking it into consideration of the fact, we tried to design the yearbook itself as "not being downgraded by aging" or "being upgraded by aging". Visually we never tried to make the garish design but sought for "the simple design which would never be obsolete" including the title of the yearbook and the names of winners of the awards as elements.

An almanac shows winning award Art Works at Sapporo ADC(Sapporo Art director's club) competition & Award 2012 where all the art works from Hokkaido get gathered and being examined. The almanac will engrave history of design and be kept for many years. Considering this, our goal was "Good design even if it gets old" and "interesting design as it gets old." As visual point of view, we aimed at not extreme design but simple design focusing on the structure for its title and awarded designer's name.
