人気俳優のAがB氏の人気漫画をC監督が実写映画化する「D」に主演することが決まった。Aの役は明かされておらず共演陣も後日発表予定。ストーリーを含め秘密のベールに包まれているが巨人に襲われ荒廃した世界観を生かすため、廃墟の聖地といわれる長崎県の端島（通称・軍艦島）での撮影を予定しているという。世界遺産暫定リスト入りした０９年以降では、同所で映画が撮影されるのは初となる。アニメ「E」のF氏がキャラクターデザインを担当するなど各分野の第一人者が同映画のために集結したことも発表された

It was decided that the popular actor A will play the leading role in "D", the film adaptation of popular manga of Mr.B. The role of A has not been revealed. Costars will be announced at a later date. The detail, including the story is cloaked in secrecy, but the rumor is that sacred ruin Hashima (common name: Battleship Island) in Nagasaki prefecture is selected as the location of the film to make use of its vision of the world that is attacked by Giant and devastated. This will be the first location since 2009 when Hashima was listed on provisional list for World Heritage. It is also announced that leading experts in each field was gathered to make the film, such as character design by Mr.F of anime "E".

It's been decided that the famous actor A will play the leading role in the film adaption of the famous manga D by Mr. B directed by C. A's role is not clear and co-stars will be announced at a later date. Though the story is shrouded in mystery, it's said that filming is to take place on Hashima (aka: Battleship Island) in Nagasaki Prefecture to make use of its scenery which looks like a giant man attacked it. It will be the first time a film will be shot in the same location since it tentatively made the World Heritage list in 2009. It's also been announced that Mr. F from the Anime E will be in charge of character design along with leaders from numerous fields to collaborate on the film.
