超音波で物体を空中に浮遊させて操作する技術/説明がなければ手品と思ってしまいそう。音波を使って物体を空中に浮かせる「音波浮揚」の技術は数十年前から研究されている。今回の新しい点は物体を3次元的に動かせる点。秘密はスピーカーの配列にある。これまでは対面にスピーカーを設置して浮遊させていたところを、今回は4方に設置することで、超音波の焦点を上下だけでなく左右、前後にも自由に設定する事ができるようになり、これを任意の位置に移動させていくことで浮遊させた物体を動かすことが可能となった
