観光庁長官に久保成人氏就任
国土交通省は8月1日付で人事異動を行ない、元大臣官房長の久保成人氏が観光庁長官に就任した。
久保氏は1977年に運輸省に入省。国土交通省大臣官房広報課長、海事局海事産業課長、鉄道局幹線鉄道課長、大臣官房参事官（人事）、大臣官房人事課長、航空局監理部長、鉄道局次長、海上保安庁次長、鉄道局長を経て、2012年9月から大臣官房長を務めていた。
また、観光庁も同日人事異動を行ない、観光産業課長に大臣官房人事課企画官の石原大氏が就任した。

Mr. Kubo, Shigeto was inducted as Director-General of Japan Tourism Agency
Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation (MLIT) has announced the personnel shuffle effective on August 1 and inducted Mr. Kubo, Shigeto as the Director-General of the Japan Tourism Agency.
Mr. Kubo started to work at DFT in 1977. He held various positions at MLIT such as Director for Public Relations division of Minister’s Secretariat, Director for Maritime Industries Division of Maritime Bureau, Director for Trunk Railway Division of Railway Bureau, Counselor of Minister’s Secretariat (Personnel), Director for Personnel Division of the Minister’s Secretariat, Director-General for Administration Department of Civil Aviation Bureau, Senior Deputy-General of Railway Bureau, Vice Commandant of Coast Guard. Director-General of Railway Bureau. He had been indicted as Deputy Vice-Minister of Minister’s Secretariat since September, 2012.

Mr. Naruhito Kubo inaugurated as the commissioner of the Japan Tourism Agency.

He served as a public‐relations section chief of the Minister Secretariat of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, a maritime industories section chief of Maritime Bureau, an arterial railway section chief of Railway Bureau, a director at the secretariat of the Minister (HR), a HR section cheif at the secretariat of the Minister, the senior director of Civil Aviation Bureau, the Deputy Director-General of Railway Bureau, the Deputy Director-General of Japan Coast Guard and the Director-General of Railway Bureau, and since September 2012 he has served as a ministry secretary.
The Ministry of Turism also implemented reshuffling of personnel on the same day and Mr. Masaru Ishihara, the former Director for Personnel Affairs at the secretariat of the Minister inaugurated as a Turism Industries section chief.
