A coach will not receive a passing score for managing progress and accountability on the ACC exam if the coach insists that the client follow prescribed measures and structures familiar to the coach, if the coach is unable to support the client in developing an effective method of managing and measuring progress, if the measures and methods of
accountability do not have a clear relationship to the client’s stated agenda and desired outcomes, if they do not have a clear purpose and potential to move the client forward, or if suggested tools and structures clearly do not bear a relationship to the needs of the particular client or his/her agenda.

コーチは進捗や責任管理技能に関する准専門職認定コーチ資格試験において以下の項目に該当する場合は合格点を取ることができません。
1) コーチが自身の良く知っている所定の手段や仕組みに準ずることをクライアントに要求した場合。
2) コーチは、クライアントが効果的な管理方法や進捗測定方法の新規作成を手助けすることができなかった場合。
3) (コーチがクライアントと合意した) 手段や方法系統がクライアント自身が規定した課題や望んだ結果に明白に関連していない場合。
4) コーチがクライアントと合意した手段や方法系統がクライアントの進歩に対する明白な目的や可能性を持たない場合。
5) 特定のクライアント、すなわち男性や女性クライアントが自身で規定した課題に対してコーチが提案した手段や仕組みが明白な関連を持たない場合。

コーチがACC試験で進捗管理ならびに説明責任に関して合格点を受け取ることができないのは次の場合です。コーチが依頼人に、コーチが精通している所定の手段とシステムに従うことを求める場合、進捗を管理する効果的な方法の開発で、コーチが依頼人ををサポートすることができない場合、説明責任の手段と方法が、依頼人の表明した課題や望んだ成果と明確な関連がない場合、彼らに依頼人を前に進ませる明確な目的や潜在力がない場合、または、提案されたツールとシステムが、特定の依頼人、もしくは彼（女）の課題の要求に明らかに関連がない場合。
