こちらの不勉強による問題なので気にしないで下さい
御社のACアダプターでも日本で使用可能です。
ただ、ACアダプターにPSEマークの表示がなければ販売出来ません。
従って交換が必要になります
交換品を用意するにあたって、8.4V、1AのACアダプターが販売されていません
近い数値のものを用意したのですが、少し問題があるようなので、伺った次第です
どのように対応すればよいかお伺いしたいです。

Your can be used in Japan with your AC adopter, too. However, we can not sell the adopter in Japan unless it has the PSE mark. Therefore, it needs to be replaced.
