Enrichness of service by big three are conspicuous. Taking the PR effect by C.F into account, unless emerging venture business has installed robust service, it might have no chance to win in Japan.
On the other hand, the reason why LINE or so have been inceasing its user sufficiently in abroad is, I think beacuse it has fullfilled user's needs by providing solution which was not in foregin service such as Stump.
