Sceneries of Yakushima has been filmed in February 2013 using the equipment developed by Google. This is an equipment which is 18kg, people carry this to places where cars cannot go in. Combining camera to shoot multidirection and battery, it is operated by Android terminal. Reportedly they could not go near Jomonsugi which is believed to be thousands years old due to conservation. Please firnd the further ways by yourselves. From the starting point, go through the site where people used to live alongsite the old paths called tram path and cross the Kosugitani bridge over the river.

Captured images of Yakushima were taken by a camera with the photo equipment developed by Google in February, 2013.
