ＭＰＩジャパンは1月10日、六本木アカデミーヒルズで「2013 MPI Japan Chapter 新春賀詞交換会」を開催。ネットワーキングを目的としたカクテルパーティ形式で行なわれ、ミーティングビジネスやＭＩＣＥの関係者、観光やツーリズムを学ぶ学生など約150人が出席した。
沖縄観光コンベンション協会の安里繁信会長が「観光を業界から産業へ昇華させる」と題したスピーチと、1月29日に東京で開催されるMICEコンテンツ・ショーへのＰＲを行なった。

MPI Japan held "2013 MPI Japan Chapter New Spring Lyrics Exchange Party" at Roppongi Academy Hills on January 10th. The cocktail party was held in purpose of networking. There were approximately 150 people attended. They were business meetings & MICE related people and students who studied travel and tourism. Mr. Shibenobu Anri, the Chairman of Okinawa Travel Convention Association made a speech titled "Travel business will sublimate from its industry segments to a trading industry" and he also gave us PR for MICE Content Show which would take place in Tokyo on January 29th.

「MICE推進に関係者集まる ～MPIジャパン賀詞交換会」
新潟県MICE研究協議会の座長を務める第一印刷所企画開発本部長阿部正喜氏が、協議会の取組みや新潟オンリーワンのおもてなしを紹介した。
役員紹介では山本牧子会長が、MPIのスローガンであるコミュニケーション、コラボレーション、コネクションの３つのCに加えてクリエイティビティも重要視するという自身の考えを述べた。また、女性の力を活かすことが日本ミーティング産業発展の鍵を握るとし、プランナー女子会などの活動推進について触れた。
