It can then be inferred that when representing them in a positive light they are "enthusiast"; in a negative light, "otaku."
Further, the title is said to have originated from the fact that enthusiasts who gathered together to talk liked to use "otaku" as a second person pronoun (a group of words including "omae" and "anata").
