すぐに追跡番号で状況を確認しましたが、
三日前にご連絡頂いた時と全く変わっていません。
念のために日本の郵便HPからも確認しましたが、
やはりバンクーバーで止まったままとなっています。
そちらからカナダの税関に問い合わせることは可能ですか?
海外販売をしている知人たちに相談をしたところ、
税関でピックアップされた荷物が、その後の引き継ぎ不足のため、
一ヶ月近く部屋のすみにつまれたままになっていたという事例を聞きました。

I checked the status immediately by the tracking number,
but it hasn't changed since 3 days ago when you contacted me.
Just to make sure, I checked from Japan Post website,
but it also says the item is still in Vancouver.
Is it possible for you to contact the Canadian customs?
I asked my friends who sell products overseas,
there was a case that the item picked up at the customs was left in the corner o the room for nearly a month because the work was not properly handed over.
So you haven't received the item(s) yet, have you?
I immediately checked its tracking number, but it is still in the same condition when you e-mailed me three days ago.
I checked with the JP Service HP just to be certain, but it showed that the item(s) is(are) still in Vancouver.
Is it possible for you to contact customs service in Canada?
I asked people who run international sales, and they told me that there are some cases that some items, which are picked up at customs service, had been kept there nearly a month because of a lack of assumptions.
I immediately checked the current situation with the tracking number, yet it still remains same as when I heard from you 3 days ago.
I also checked from the website of Japanese Post Service, and found out it has been on hold in Vancouver.
Would you possibly inquire to the customs in Canada from your side?

状況を説明され、翌日には荷物が動き始めたそうです。
その他に「送り主に送り返すところです」と言われた事例もありました。
郵便局が配達をしたが誰も居なかったと税関に戻され、
問い合わせもないため送り返すところだと。
しかし受取人は、その時期ずっと家にいたそうです。
いずれもカナダの事例ではありませんが
同じように問い合わせをすることで状況が変わるかもしれません。

日本郵便を通じて進捗状況の調査ができないか問い合わせてみますね。
In other case they were told that "the parcel is to be returned to the sender".
Post office delivered but there was nobody so it was returned to the customs,
because there was no inquiry about it, it was going to be returned.
However, the recipient was at home all the time during that period.
These are not cases in Canada,
but the situation might change if you ask them, too.
As soon as the morning comes,
I will ask the Japan post to check the progress from my side.
There was also another example which they were told "it will be returned to the sender " .
It was returned to the customs after it was delivered to the address and reported that there was nobody to receive it, therefore It was about to be returned as there was no inquiry about it.
However, the receiver was always there in this period.
They are not the cases in Canada, but our case also may change situation by making an inquiry, like these.
At first light, I will also inquire if it can be investigated the current situation through Japan Post Service.
