Yipeng Niu (yipengniu)

I am Yipeng Niu, a mainland Chinese who lives in the U.S. As for my Chinese skills, I am a native Chinese, received an A for the subject Chinese in the Chinese high school graduate exam, and published a book in Chinese. As for my English skills, I have been living in the U.S. for more than a year and received an A for UCLA Writing II course.

I am a physics major undergraduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles. I have been a translator for English to simplified Chinese for more than four years. I am one of the founding members of the subtitle team Alpha Squad, where I translated and subtitled several thousand minutes of educational and entertaining English videos. As a translator employed by Mingbo Aquatic Co. Ltd., I translated over ten thousand words of academic articles. I am experienced in translating videos and professional articles.
