As you mentioned, there is no problem of going out from Indonesia. However the entry to Japan from 111 foreign countries is currently under restriction. A person is refused to enter unless the person is married to Japanese, s/he is a permanent resident, or there is humanitarian issue to consider. Studying in Japan is not considered as a humanitarian issue. Since there is no specific period announced for such restriction, we are also deeply troubled. We have postponed the entry scheduled for late May first to late June, then to late July. We are not sure when the entry will be approved. We will contact the Immigration Bureau.
