I have tried testing the video capturing functionality of the Leica M mount lens when attached to the Ricoh GXR mount A12.It was really great fun to use such an excellent lens, and the finish of the photos were great but the basic performance of the camera when recording a video wasn't that great, and hence I was rather disappointed. This is particularly because in video mode, there is no way of controlling the exposure or to make any color adjustments.Nonetheless, it is a camera with a huge amount of potential and so I would definitely like the manufacturer to improve on its video capability in the future.

However, you promised me that you would send me a new replacement but what I received was something that could only have been mended. Why is it that, even though it should have been a new replacement, the item that I received had some glue in the same place where the crack had been in the firs place? Why is it that you removed all the seals at the bottom of the new replacement item before sending it to me? Why is it that, even though it should have been a new replacement, it included a LAP registration form for Japan that was dated before last year, instead of it being dated this year? Likely because it wasn't actually a new replacement.

I suspect that you took the cracked item, repaired it with glue and removed all the seals at the bottom and changed the LAP registration form for another one so that I wouldn't notice that it was exactly the same item. If you understand Japanese and read the LAP registration form for Japan, you can tell straight away whether the item is new or not. And with this item, it was also clear at first glance that the item had been repaired. Did you see the picture attached to my previous e-mail? I am just an amateur and I noticed it straight away, so it's just not possible for a professional like you not to notice. I can only imagine that you knew about this at the time of delivery and sent it anyway.
