④CPRは、ドップラーレーダ技術を用いて、雲やエアロゾルの鉛直分布や動きを測定する世界初の衛星センサである。CPRの開発においては、現在技術上の課題に直面しているが、E社から全面的な支援を得るとともに、J社はコントラクタと一丸となって解決に向けて取り組んでいる。この課題を乗り越え、気候変動予測の前進に不可欠な観測を実現させるためにも、引き続き緊密に連携してまいりたい。J社は、「JS衛星」以降、25年以上にわたり、「LS技術」の開発・運用の経験を蓄積してきた。

CPR is the world first satellite sensor which observes the distribution and movement of clouds and aerosol with the Doppler radar technology. The development of CPR is now facing technological problems, however, company J has been attempting to solve the issues through cooperation with its contractors as well as obtaining thorough supports from company E. In order to overcome this issue and realize observation essential to the progress in prediction of climate change, company J would like to cooperate with them continuously and closely. Company J has accumulated experiences of development and operation of LS technology for over 25 years since JS satellites.
