私は、日本企業のグローバル化が進展する中で、ERPに対する需要は拡大するものと考えています。私は、IBMが日本における営業体制を整え、日本市場の開拓に積極的に取り組むことを期待しています。その場合には、私は、NECグループのみならず、他の一般企業に対する販売活動に出来るだけの協力をしたいと思います。私の強みは、CFOとしての豊かな経験と沢山の金融関係者との親密な関係です。特に、NEC との関係を活用して、日本市場におけるIBMユーザの開拓を進めることが出来ると考えています。

I think that the demand for ERP will expand in progress of globalization of Japanese corporations. I expect that IBM will prepare the sales organization in Japan and will work actively for development of Japanese market. In that case, I would like to cooperate with the sales activity not only for NEC group but also for the other corporations. My strength is extensive experiences as CFO and close relationships with many financial personnels. I think that I can progress the development of IBM users in Japanese market, especially leveraging relationship with NEC.
