私は相変わらず難波で暮らし、一旦英語の勉強を諦めたのに、去年から子供達の交換留学で半年おきに英文でメールのやり取りです。先日娘がホームステイから戻りその後のタイミングで見つけたのでつい連絡してしまいました。日本に住んでるし旅行で使うくらいだと思って逃げきったと思ったのに、英語が未だに私を追い詰めてきます。まだまだ英文を考えるのに時間が掛かるので、諦めてまた時間を作って勉強をし直そうと思っています。

I still live in Namba. I once gave up studying English, but starting from last year, I had to exchange emails in English every half a year because of my kids' student exchange program.
The other day, I happened to find your address at the same timing as my daughter came home from her home stay and that's why I'm writing to you.
I thought I had nothing to do with English any more as I lived in Japan and had a chance to use it only during a trip to abroad.
However, English is still running after me.
It still takes a long time to think of an English sentence so I've made up my mind to study it again in my spare time.
