A great boss is a cheerleader to two separate groups. First of all, the boss is supportive of the home team, the employees. They know that no matter how difficult things get, the boss will always be cheering them on to victory.' The boss isn't going to be swayed like fickle fans to change sides when the going gets tough. Such encouragement is invaluable to team members. The motivation is to work harder and overcome the obstacles that stand between them and victory. They want to justify the loyalty of the cheerleader.
