筆者らは実験参加者に100コマくらいのマンガを与え、5コマ～20コマに要約させ、実験参加者の要約力を測定するテストを研究している。過去の実験では、多数の実験参加者が選択したコマを単純に並べれば、良い要約になっていた。言い換えれば、マンガの要約において集合知はきわめて有効に機能した。しかし、外国語のマンガでも集合知が機能するかは不明である。
本研究は、日本人に英語のマンガを与えて要約させた結果を報告する。将来は、英語のテストにマンガを利用することも想定している。

Authors are researching a test for measuring subjects of an experiment's summarize skill by asking them to summarize manga (or Japaense cartoon) with about 100 frames into 5-20 frames. From previous experiments, by simply lining many subjects' flames, it was a good summarize. To put it differently, wisdom of crowds were working quite effectively for summarizing manga. However, it's not clear if wisdom of crowds will work same way for Foreign cartoons.
In this research, we will report the result by giving English manga to Japanese and let them summarize. In the future, we are assuming that manga will be used for English tests.
