コタツはヒーターや電球と同じ種類なので、100V用を120Vで使えば過熱ぎみになります。
そのまま使っても、すぐに故障ということはないと思いますが、寿命は短くなるのではないかと思います。

Kotatsu is like heaters or light bulbs, so if you use 100V one with 120V electricity it will be overheated.
