日本の商慣習では納品月の末日で締めて翌月の末日に支払いが一般的です。

今回のケースに当てはめると
12月に納品→1月末日に支払いとなります。

今後多数の生産を依頼する場合、支払いが先になるとキャッシュが回らなくなり、結果 継続的なオーダーをする事ができなくなります。

日本の慣習に合わせて頂くことはできますか？

We are slightly at odds with our client.
It is a typical business practice in Japan to end the dealing at the last day of the month when the goods are received and pay for them the next month.

Now the case is that the goods are received in December and the resulting payment is made in January.

In the event that lots of production is called upon from now on, the payment will be pushed forward and the schedule won't be circulated. In the end, we cannot continue to make orders.
