その頃はオフィスワークをしていて、いつもオフィスにはインスタントコーヒーがあり、朝は決まってブラックコーヒーを飲んでいた。すでにたばこを止めていたこともあり、ブラックを好むようになっていた。冬に雪が積もった朝などは、仕事前にみんなで雪かきをした後に仕事を始める。これがけっこう大変で雪が多いときは1時間以上かかってしまう。その後に飲む暖かいコーヒーがまた格別だった。仕事が夜遅くなることはよくあり、ただ苦いだけのインスタントコーヒーを何杯も飲んでいた。

I was working in the office. Because I always had instant coffee in my office, I always drank black coffee in the morning. I quit smoking and began to drink black coffee. In the snowy morning, we cleaned up the snow and started our work. When there was a big snow, we usually spent an hour on cleaning up. After that, drinking a cup of coffee is really special for me. Sometimes I had to work till night, and I drank cups of instant coffee.
